Our story begins in Latimer Road, West London. The year is 2019 and one of Albert's friend moves into a flatshare with a couple of people, one of which is a woman called Maika. She moved back to the big smoke after a few years in the Philippines, her home, and Australia. Albert is intrigued by this lady, for her direct and honest ways, whilst being kind and caring. 2020 arrives and they decide to lock themselves into one flat. After a few years of living together and enjoying each other's company, they decide to commit to the big thing in 2022. Albert finds a ring for her and proposes on a small island off the north coast of Sardegna. 2023 marks the beginning of the rest of the story, when Maika wakes up one day and notices something unusual - she is expecting a baby! Fast forward a year and their baby girl is attending her parent's wedding as the most special guest of honour.
